Makerspace Needs Your Help!

Makerspaces are places where students have an opportunity to explore their own interests; learn to use tools and materials, both physical and virtual; and develop creative projects.
They are an innovative approach to individual student creativity and problem solving across all academic disciplines. Makerspaces are often referred to as STEAM labs. They provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering. With the Penn Brook Makerspace students will be able to take part in a wide-range of activities that will include: gears, electronics, robotics, and paper and fabric construction that foster creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.
The Makerspaces will allow for students to explore and ignite their own creativity and problem solving. Teachers across all academic disciplines will be able to utilize the Makerspaces to enrich their curriculum in ways they were not able to do before.
But, we need your help! If you would be willing to donate to Makerspace, click the link above to view our wish list. All items can be dropped off at Penn Brook.
