Model U.N. Club spends the day deliberating at St. John’s Prep.

Their first conference was a success! Students were at St. John’s bright and early armed with their position papers and physical notes (no electronics allowed!), and very much dressed for the part and ready to participate in this competitive environment. Some were excited to participate and immediately jumped in the discussions. It was great to see those kids who were very nervous at the beginning (especially those first timers), but who, on their way out, excitedly expressed to staff (Mrs. Schwarzkopf/Advisor, Mr. Cloak, Mrs. Giannini) how much fun they had.
Gretel Devendorf won ‘Best Representation’ as Kuwait in the Arab Countries: Economic Diversification committee. Particularly impressive since this was her first conference.
