Art Students and National Art Honor Society creating murals throughout the school to showing our schools pride and spreading a positive school culture.

Painting class is creating four Murals in the weight room. Jake Higgins, Emma Dunlevy and Daphne Lymberopoulos completed the Georgetown G mural. The request came from the sports teams that use the room for students training for school pride and motivation.

Julia Giangrande adds finishing touches to a positive message in the woman’s bathroom wall near the school’s auditorium. The mural was designed and painted by Julia and Maeve Sousa National Art Honor Society members as part of the schools club mission for community service. The request for the murals came from the school’s administration team as a way to spread a positive school culture through out the students day. Murals for all of the bathrooms are planned and will continue next year throughout the school.

Department Murals are throughout the school and brighten the long corridors. National Art Society Member Nichole Kelly  designed and painted the mural. Nichole spent many hours after school making sure this mural was just right outside the chorus room.

More  murals throughout the school are planned for next year so keep your eyes peeled.
