National Business Honor Society Inducts New Members

Last week, the teachers in the Business Department recognized 10 new members into the National Business Honor Society in front of their proud families. These students have all satisfied the purposes of this organization which has been established to :

– Promote and recognize academic achievement in business education at Georgetown High School

– foster and recognize leadership skills and character development

– help members grow ethnically and socially by promoting and encouraging and interest in business

– encourage member involvement in service learning initiatives.

I want to personally congratulate the following students and their families:

Seniors: Peter Frost, Matthew Scearbo, William Fisher, Matthew Primatello, Jack Trapani

Juniors: Grace Boudreau, Alyssa Gaeta, Hunter Lane, Michael Lundquist

Each of these students are deserving of this recognition and I am sure they will all take their passion for business and  the experiences they have participated in as part of the business program and/or DECA into their life beyond high school. We are all so proud of them on being selected for this prestigious award of recognition.   Keep up the great work!
