Everyone Loves a Parade- Halloween in the Schools

It is hard to believe that it is November already and that another Halloween has come and gone. Yesterday was a very festive day and a special opportunity for families and students alike to enjoy a good parade. Perley had their parade in the morning. It was so much fun to see all of the little children parading around the Perley field to the delight of their family and friends. The teachers looked awesome in their play dough costumes!

At 1:30, the Penn Brook School’s kindergarten, first and second graders , led by Principal Maher in her witch’s costume and accompanied by and Mrs. Collins as Snow White and her 9 dwarfs( yes 9), marched around the school getting rousing cheers from the students in grades 3,4,5 and 6.  Their teachers were in the spirit also with each grade level team in their own unique costume! After a morning of learning, this  parade was a special treat and a chance to enjoy some festive time together as a school. I have posted some pictures and a video so you can enjoy some of the fun.

Happy November everyone!
