1-1 iPad Initiative Set to Move Forward In the Fall

I am so excited that we are going to be able to move forward with the first round  of our 1-1 iPad initiative  for students in 7th, 9th and 10th grades in the fall. We have been busy reaching out to families about their  intention to opt in or out of the program because we needed to make a final decision about whether we had enough participation to move ahead. While we have a higher percentage of students opting out than we hoped , we will have  enough loaner computers  to ensure that students  will have access if they need for instruction.

We are very grateful to all families who are opting in to this program and for being part of this exciting project. I know there are still questions to be resolved and logistics to be worked out but we are very grateful for the trust you are placing in us to make sure that the benefits of this program outweigh the costs . Thank you!

If you are leasing a device from the district, I want to remind you that there is a meeting  tonight May 4 at 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the library media center at the MHS . The representatives from FACTS will be there to help you select and sign up for your plan of choice.
